We are a newly owned guiding service in Terrace British Columbia that offers a large variety of fishing opportunities on the classified and non classified portions of the Skeena River, and many of its tributaries. Our guides are local weathered veterans with many seasons of experience chasing steelhead, salmon, and trout in and around the terrace area. Steelhead's are always one of the most sought after game fish in the world and the Skeena
System has the largest abundant stocks of wild fish anywhere in North America.
Testing ones skills on the Skeena River with a fly rod, or any light tackle can become the challenge of your angling life. Picture yourself hooked up with a giant summer run steelhead and the power of the mighty Skeena helping that trophy fight to get free, feeling the strength of the fish and listening to the pounding of your heart in your ears you will instantly know why you chose Goliath Guiding Services. We will give you the opportunity to make your dreams come true.

There is no experience necessary to have a memorable day on the river with GOLIATH guiding services. To get out and have the opportunity to catch trophy salmon, trout and steelhead in the wilderness settings that the Skeena River and its tributaries have to offer is a must for all anglers of any age.
We start the season with spring steelhead, and trout, and then move into Chinook (spring) salmon time. From here the sockeye salmon begin to show up and are pound for pound one of the hardest fighting fish on the fly that you can find in the area, not only are they a vicious scrapper returning in large numbers, they are also the most prized eating fish of all the salmon family. Pinks will return next and give anglers of all ages a great chance to polish their skills. Pinks return in large numbers and readily bite almost anything. From here we move into the beginning of the Skeena steelhead run that offers opportunities for the skilled and patient fly angler to have these silvery brutes take a dry fly. Any of the other fishing methods can produce good results and by no means must one be an accomplished angler to have success.
THAT'S WHAT GOLIATH GUIDING SERVICES ARE FOR.
We are doing the work for you that years of fishing experience on these rivers have taught our guides. The last of the salmon we target that enter the river system is the Coho salmon. They begin in early august in the mainstream Skeena and fishing opportunities abound until late October in the tributaries after the mainstream up river fish have passed thru. One thing to remember is that there are always large numbers of fish to be caught on the Skeena system and from early July to late September many of the species mentioned are traveling upstream together. Trout are always available for a shore lunch.
